About Me
Hello everyone!
My name is Nadia. I'm from Russia but currently living and studying in Italy. I haven't had a chance to travel a lot (I lived on the north-east of Russia and it's very expensive to get anywhere from there) so I want to catch up with the world. I study Computer engineering at university but also I'm into languages (currently improving my English and Italian and learning German, Greek and Arabic). I like learning new things and always open for new opportunities. I love food in all its ranges and I always try different recipes from cousins all over the world (although I'm not that great of a cook).
Usually I travel with my boyfriend Dario. He's from Italy and we've been together for two years. He's a very nice, funny and kind person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people from all around the world. I usually stay in the hostels when I travel but I'd like to experience living with natives and get to know the inside life of the country.
Interests
I prefer to get to know the city on foot. I walk a lot and sometimes I just wonder around discovering new hidden places. I'm a bookworm and constantly reading (mostly classic fiction literature but I'm open for suggestions). At home we always watch movies and TV-shows in the evening. I like trying new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: classical and modern rock music
Movies: there are a lot of great movies but I wouldn't want to name one favorite. Although I like zombie movies very much and I like to discuss the best zombie movies (it's World War Z) and how I would act in case of zombie apocalypse :D
Books: the same as with the movies (I've read a loooot of books). Of course I love Harry Potter. My favourite writer is Ray Bradbury but my favourite book is probable "Flowers for Algernon" by Daniel Keyes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I haven't done anything amazing I guess. I'm an ordinary person :) Maybe that I've saved 5 homeless kittens in my life?
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some words and expressions (or even make real lesson) on one of the languages I'm learning (of course, unless you already know them). Also I like telling about the culture and traditions of my nation Sakha (almost no one knows about our existence, we're one of many aborigens of Russia). Also I can show you something from Italian or Russian cuisine.
I would like to learn something from your language (especially some oddities) and new recipes from you cousine :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Italian cuisine. What else could be better than that? :)
