About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to have a good trip this summer in Mexico, improve my spanish and discover la vida Mexicana :)

ABOUT ME

I am a simple, friendly person, who likes to laugh and listen to great stories. When travelling I like to taste local life and participate in it. The more adventures experienced the more I feel a cosmopolitan, who can use all kind of parts of knowledge according to the country, city or situation, so that I can adapt and respect.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that it is very important to keep a form of altruism in ones life, to ensure ones ego doesn't dominate. Besides I think that doing something for somebody will give joy and this causes a happier feeling in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and I have surfed a few times in the past. Also I have used chouchsurfing last summer to meet fellow hikers when I was hitchhiking through Europe, which proved a lot of fun and a easy means to meet new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have not used couchsurfing to often, but this summer I would like to change this. I have hosted a few people and surfed several times in Portugal, but overall I am still a couchsurf novice.

Interests

Football is my biggest hobby. Moreover I like travelling and exchanging thoughts with others, especially when people have funny, strange opinions.

However, the conversation should remain within ethical boundries and respect must prevale.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't read frequently and I am not fond of reading either. Lateley movies got my interest, but just a certain genre, namely filmfestival sort of movies. My taste of music is very diverse and changes a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ha Giang, Vietnam was an amazing adventure. All the local hill tribes were wonderful to examine, though respect for them, led to seldom contact.

Furthermore Myanmar's authentic lifestyle moved me a lot, as did the local people with their sincere hearts.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to speak and listen with/to others and learn from the conversations held. sometimes it will be me who will learn something, other times it will be you. This phenomenon is a great feature of live.
