ABOUT ME

I live with my daughter Asja (12) and two dogs: Kigs (10) and Megi (1 year). We live on the 16th floor in a two room flat in the quarter Dallas Utrine. I sleep in the living room and we host in my daughter’s room. We used to live in a big country house but life changed the plans. We’re mostly hosting for the weekends as we would let you sleep in my daughter’s room and we need it during the working week.

Ours is a non-smoking house. I tend to eat gluten-free stuff. And avoid refined sugars.

Helping around is more than welcome. :) Single parents could never be more grateful for it! Taking the dogs for a walk or to the dog park is also a big help.

We can't make it to offer food to travelers, and we'd appreciate your sensibility to participate (financially) in meals you plan to eat with us, 'cause we're not able to give more than the accommodation/showers/smiles & tips... If you plan to buy the stuff that you'll eat, just skip this issue! :)

And yes, we have a small request from our guests: we'd kindly ask you to bring us a teaspoon as a present. Any kind of a teaspoon (except a plastic one), as a reminder of you passing by, something that might make us laugh (or cry) or bring back some emotions... You know... The teaspoon might be old or new; it might have a story of how you got to it (that would be pretty nice!), or a story how it traveled to get to Croatia. Thanks

兴趣

I love people in general, kids, dogs... I love cooking (even though being a single mum doesn't really allow me to cook as creatively as I'd want ), I love arts, crafts, crocheting, writing, good movies (not too much time for those either)...

I love old czech movies, a bit silly ones that make your imagination sparkle and put a smile on your face..
I love singing so anything that is singable is good (I'm terribly bad with memorising lyrics unless it's a children's song).. And I love swing dancing, lindy hop and authentic jazz. :)
Books that I read lately are mostly those regarding the personal growth and shorter books since this single mum’s life doesn’t make too much space for reading.

Hiking in Alaska, getting soaked on the way up, ending dressed only in a transparent raincoat, and still having a smile on. It was amazing being up there!
