About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding out what of everything I like the most

ABOUT ME

I like new things. Discovery and exploration. Swinging on my chair, climbing buildings. Yelling and dancing. But I really like philosophising. And words, and language. The theatre is my place of choice; And everywhere is a theatre. I like being in large groups of people. Especially when everyone's on a level with each other that doesn't EXPECT anything, doesn't PUSH anything (I'm a vegetarian but I'd sooner eat meat than tell you not to).. Just happy to exist with each other.

PHILOSOPHY

Ask and receive fearlessly - chur Amanda Palmer. This isn't a selfish thing, I think everyone should do it. It just balances out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Was a repeated host to a few Canadians during my studies, when I actually had a stable couch, and a host of the people they met coming and going around NZ. Now in Europe, I'm trying to get a better balance between hosting and being hosted!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In one big heap I fell into the couch of a good chap who held onto me for about two weeks, while I was looking for something permanent in Paris. I find it a bit confusing that this worked out, and all my little trips to less known cities haven't turned up available hosts. But I'm pretty grateful! Looking forward to hosting other's asap!

Interests

Bright colours. Walkabouts. The Chilis, Fat Freddies Drop and the White Stripes - music of my bones, soul and blood (respectively). Commedia Dell'Arte. Good food, and especially the act of cooking. Bonfires, stars, mountains and snow and lakes and lanscapes. Not wearing shoes. These are the best things in life. And showers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fell in love, fell out again. Had mulled wine at the end of a furious day of snowboarding. Saw Fight Club. Learned that colourblind people don't see in black and white... I might need to come back to this question actually.

Teach, Learn, Share

Slime yuck yuck, ha, hi bill. Just a few odd little games people can play when there's nothing else to do. How to brush your teeth without pushing your gums off your dentine! How to pronounce the english "th" sounds.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Italy, Netherlands, New Caledonia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Vanuatu

Countries I’ve Lived In
