I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. I majored in philosophy and european studies. I'm planning to go back to school to become a mental health counselor. I love interactions between people, conversing, people watching, listening, anything to do with humans!
I'm interested in working with homeless or foster youth.
I'm most passionate about Ireland. Ireland's history, literature, myths, politics, and nature. I could talk about it all day.
I daydream about orchards, sheep, houses filled with friends, rivers, and rottweilers.
PHILOSOPHY
*Passion. One of the most important things to me. Basically I feel the biggest evil in this world is indifference. It takes a lot more strength to put your heart into every moment, but in the end it is far more worth the effort.
*Nature and aesthetics. Nature's beauty is more than just a pretty sight for the eyes; it's a religion in itself. It is calming, comforting, inspiring. If you listen to it closely it will tell you many truths and make you never want to stop learning/laughing.
*Basically the most enjoyable thing I know is also the most simple, just to exist. That's pretty much what I spend my time doing these days and it never gets boring. Curiosity and wonder will always bring you to new adventures and new delights.
*Because I'm a philosophy major I can't help but also add my favorite philosophers: Schelling, Kant, Parmenides, Sartre, Beauvoir, Marcuse, and Irigaray.
