About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Playing music, organic living, and exploring what is down that road...
ABOUT ME
Been working in food co-ops, organic farms, off-the-grid ranches, lots of different things. The last two years I have been working/managing a small organic farms in Maine, with a little travel in between. I have decided to move to VT to work at a great co-op and live in a great city. I believe in a green lifestyle and was a year round bicyclist while living in Minneapolis. I think life is all about the experiences that you gather. We are all different and what is considered important to others may not be important to me and vice versa. I believe we should respect everyones differences and enjoy them! That is what is so great about this life, being who we want and learning from being.
PHILOSOPHY
Live YOUR life as you want and fill it full of kindness and let others do the same. Share what you can. Everyone has choices, sometimes the hardest ones ultimately are the best.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have couchsurfed and look forward to hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I spent two months from April 25-June 24th 2010 on the road traveling throughout the US & Canada couchsurfing along the way. It was a amazing experience and my trip would not have been possible without couchsurfing. People on this website are special and different in a good way. It takes a certain kind of mindset to open up your home to "strangers" and I look forward to opening up mine now.
Interests
Music, bicycles, reading, writing, listening, art (though I don't always "get it"), singing, honesty, hiking, grass...
But right now the main thing is music and just getting a chance to meet and learn from new people. I do have a music page so you can hear my music if you are interested.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have worked/lived on a off-the-grid guest ranch 10,000ft up the mountains of Colorado. On one of my daily hikes I came around a corner and there was a HUGE moose just standing there! I kinda just snuck on by but it started following me almost like "hey, where are you going?". Boy they are big but it was an amazing moment. But just being places where it is just quite and all you hear is the wind blowing really takes you somewhere that makes you realize what being a human means.
Teach, Learn, Share
Couchsurfing is a great way to learn. I think with the technology of today some people tend to lose human connection rather than gain it. All these computers are supposed to be tools. I have a lot to learn about life and think the only way is through actual human connection. Seeing different places or hearing different philosophies that I wouldn't have without someone sharing with me. I may end up liking it or not, but at least I will have a first hand experience to base my belief on. I can share music, green lifestyle ideas, and hopefully my being.
