About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to catch big fish!

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, intelligent, curious, creative individual with a genuine interest in participating in the world around me. I explore, observe, & interact with the world & very much love to capture the world around me with photography. When i'm not taking photos I work a living as a graphic designer; which sometimes jades me; but there is plenty worse i could be doing for a living!

PHILOSOPHY

To walk great paths, capturing the experience & leaving only footprints.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed many couches & hosted a few people (in my tent in croatia & in my home in Melbourne, Australia) & have begun to understand this shared living experience, that is life.

I genuinely enjoy the company of other people & am respectful of differing opinions on any topic. I also enjoy cooking and like to learn about traditional recipes, music, art and drinks from my hosts. I have spent the last several years in big share houses (8+) & find I get along with people well.

I love to teach what I know, & learn from others what interests me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfers are people I can easily trust & I have not met a bad one yet, only many long lasting friends. After couchsurfing, I know there is no better way to travel, & bring the world together, & forever shall i both host & surf couches so that I do my bit to help the world become one.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes, I really enjoy Movies, Music & Books; but to know more you have to ask me..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just completed a 2729km tramping adventure from czech republic - madrid and now kicking around spain until i fly home to australia.

I spent 6 months travelling through eastern europe & slowly into the west.

i've fully experienced melbourne, inner city living in many shared mansions/warehouses @ it's best in the 7 years since I moved there from brisbane.

I Hitched around Australia for about a year. Lived near the ocean & learnt how to surf, picked fruit. I also did similar travelling and living out of a L300 van.

& Traveled extensively as a child/teenager, camping around australia in some really bizzare locations & traveling with my family internationally.

& taken many, many photos...

Teach, Learn, Share

“Ideas are like fish. If you want to catch little fish, you can stay in the shallow water. But if you want to catch the big fish, you’ve got to go deeper. Down deep, the fish are more powerful and more pure. They’re huge and abstract. And they’re very beautiful.”
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi
