I'm a nerd, and am fascinated by all kinds of things. From arguing about the definition of art and the peculiarities of human psychology, to prying apart exactly why I like the video games I like. I work at a small company that develops applications for startups, and have lately been focusing on making AR applications. I also develop games as a hobby and participate in game jams occasionally.
Non-digital hobbies include building and painting plastic models, taking pictures of both my own city and the ones I visit on my travels, and cooking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The previous times I stayed in Japan I did so with airbnbs, hostels and hotels. This is all fine, but I found that even the airbnbs were generally very impersonal and often offered no contact with the host at all. Just a key to fish out of a mailbox. This time I'm staying at a friend's place in Tokyo, and looking forward to that made me feel sad about getting a dull hotel in the other places I'm visiting.

ネット友達と会う予定もうあるけど、友達また一人増えたらいいなぁと思ってる。
