About Me
Hello!
My name is Bo and just a fellow traveler like everyone else!
I'm very into hiking and would spend my entire day outdoors if I had the choice. I love meeting new people and learning new languages/cultures. I've didn't get to travel too much as a kid but after my first trip abroad to Peru, it was a game changer.
I also really like eating good food! I love trying local food in any part of the world and finishing off with a sweet cone of ice cream. I also really enjoy beer and love good conversation over some brews :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first time on CS was last year while I was backpacking through Europe. It was a great experience to meet locals and other fellow travelers. My most memorable experiences have come from befriending the hosts so looking forward to continue to share cultures and make some new friends abroad :)
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I really like alternative and indie music but still a fan of everything. Big big fan of live music of any sorts. If I have a chance to go to a concert, I'm there. I've been fortunate enough to go to a bunch of different concerts from The Killers to Andrew Belle.
TV/Movies: I'm probably more of a TV fanatic with shows like The Office and Parks and Recreation on repeat during my weekends. With TV, I do jump into the bandwagon fairly easily obsessing over shows like Game of Thrones and Stranger Things.
Books: I've been trying to get back into reading recently so would love a good book recommendation. My favorite book currently is The Alchemist but just because it reminded me so much of The Little Prince. I've been reading books on personalities and other recommendations lately so if you have anything good then let me know!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Helped a National Geographic project in Quito, Ecuador which landed me an internship there in the summer!
Teach, Learn, Share
Would love to share stories over food and beer - I think I'm much more of a learner than a teacher.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food!
Also house chores of course!
