About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to change the world (or at least the negatives into positives) ; )
ABOUT ME
all about me? hmmm.... I can be quite feisty and get fired up about any given political thing almost on a daily basis. I have possibly the loudest laugh that anyone has ever heard. I can be very stubborn (but in a good way :) ) and have an endless supply of energy (unless I'm sick). I'm openminded and ask that others try to be openminded as well. That's all I'll share for now. If you want to know more, COME VISIT!!!! :)
PHILOSOPHY
I will sum up my personal philosophy in a little quote by Celia Cruz:
"Todo aquel que piense que la vida es desigual, tiene que saber que no es asi, que la vida es una hermosura, hay que vivirla"
I think life is great! I think people are great! I live to learn from the people I meet and to work to make this world a nicer place to live in.

Music, Movies, and Books
When I watch movies, it is generally a documentary.
I have a large collection of music from all over the world and of all different genres... I like a bit of everything.
Books, I love books! A few that I have read recently and liked are: Journey from the Land of no, No God but God, The Bookseller of Kabul, The Kite Runner, Lipstick Jihad, the only Bush I trust is my own, Adbusters (even though it's not a book)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain. It was really pretty great, an experience I would highly recommend to anyone.
One of my favorite memories is of a friendship that formed between an Italian and a Spaniard who did not share a common language, and would always have enthusiastic conversations. To me, that's proof that we can all understand/like eachother in spite of our differences.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you how to make really tasty Romanian crepes, and salata de vinete (some call it eggplant caviar, but I prefer the romanian name).
Learn: I'd like to learn anything and everything! More specifically, I'd like to learn your language, more about your culture, and about politics in your country.
Share: There is nothing I love more than having a conversation with someone about politics, religion, philosophy, chickens, flowers (well... basically anything as long as it doesn't involve paris hilton) in multiple languages!
