Parents of a 8-month old, free-minded, passionate about music and outdoors, always learning, always keeping an eye out for someone who might need a hand...

PHILOSOPHY

Many recent discussions led me to think that there's two most important things in my life : nature and love. That means being generous, compassionate, respectful of our place in the world, appreciate every moment and most of all, consider our self with a lot of humility. We're just passing through after all. Aren't we?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've offered beds and couches to travelers and we look out for opportunity to surf couches while we travel!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Sylvain had the chance to host, hummm... let's say about 12 surfers, mostly from Europe. They had great meals together, most of the time at home, looking the Saguenay river, meeting with friends, and listening to music.

And he surfed a few couches himself of course!

Vero is a newbie to this all but is really excited to get started!

Music:(Sylvain is the music guy...Vero likes music that feels good on the moment... never the same...) Indie Rock, Jazz, Contemporary music, Electronica, Folk, ...French and world music NO commercial radio! Pleeeeaaase!

Books: Mapbooks, indie Cartoon, essays, reference books, and all sorts of useful books!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Sylvain: I rode a dromadery and slept in the desert with scorpios (Geez...). I had a ride in Labrador City in the back of his pick-up truck at 160 km/h on a dirt road (scary!). I spent a whole week telemark skiing in the French Alps. I almost missed my return flight from Burkina Faso (the plane have been waiting for me!). I've guided fishermen in the Torngat Mountains (humm! Arctic char!). I've done a 26 days canoe expedition on a traditional First Nation's route. I created a therapeutic adventure program for youth. But most of all, I've met amazing people that taught me lots of things!

Vero: I lived in a car for a year, I have slept under the stars as often as I could. I hiked a mountain naked (ooups!) I walked on a glacier, I biked around New Zealand...I followed my heart and made a few dreams come true!

Between the 2 of us we might be able to pass along a few skills from telemark turns, to how to cook the best cookies, or how to handle a kayak...maybe even a few swing steps or how to make the best Pad Thai EVER!!!

We are also two great students...
