About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Re-write the bestseller "The Know-How Of Being The Perfect Wife "

ABOUT ME

In March 2011 our little baby girl was born, so I'm facing new challenges day by day as she grows and changes from one minute to the other. Amazing. :-)

Nowadays my life is in constant change which gives me the challenge, but with my wonderful husband i know it will be just as wondeful as adventurous.

I'm constantly in love with Life, I think that's important if you'd like to learn about your world and other people's culture. I was born with the "Traveling Gen", maybe inherited from my Grandma... My close family is very spontaneous and open-minded so I was raised up in that way. I finished the university last year, now I'd like to be a family doctor, but also want to study psychology 'cause I'm interested in People and always want to know more about human nature. In my free time I like to read books, go to the theatre or cinema, paint pictures or sing songs, or simply change deep, world-wide thoughts with anyone who wants to be partner in that.

PHILOSOPHY

"If you do not want to play by the rules, make new."

"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."

"The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do."

"Good communication is as stimulating as black coffee and just as hard to sleep after."

Music, Movies, and Books

I think it's absolutely not important, but for those who think it is:
movies with some meaning like Dead Poet's Society; movies with amazing actors like Dangerous Liaisons, Far from Africa, BBC's Pride and Prejudice; touching films with good music like Hair, The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof; classic cartoons like The Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella; great romantic movies like In War and Peace, Hospital series like ER, House MD and Grey's Anatomy etc. And not to forget Star Wars (especially the classic trilogy)!!!
Music: a bit of better-known classic music, operas (Carmen and Madame Butterfly), musicals (fav: The Phantom of the Opera, Chess), '80s and '90s music, oldies but goodies, some lyrical metal, rock music... OK, I like good music, no one-day stars!!! Well, I think almost every performer have at least one good score, and I like to listen that one.
Books, that's a bit more difficult... I like Pillars of the Earth (Ken Follett), Memoirs of a Geisha (Arthur Golden), Doctors (Erich Segal), The Thorn Birds (Collen cCullough), The Caine Mutiny (Herman Wouk), Die Schwarme (Frank Schatzing), Gerald Durrell, Ken Follett and Robin Cook books, good sci-fis, sometimes a bit of romance. And poems. Oh, I admit I love Harry Potter, and The Alchemist, Eleven Minutes and The Zahir from Coelho... :-) But I usually read (or at least try) also my friends' favs, and than decide whether I like it or not.
Well, sometimes it's inspiring and relaxing to read self-help and "wise" books, but according to my opinion it's not good if one book can change your life. Only you can change your life, no-one can do it for you. And you can learn a lot from books, you can be smart, but you can't gain wisdom from them, for I think you only can gain wisdom from the life you've lived through.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I haven't crossed the Atlantic Ocean with a boat or climbed the Mount Everest (altough I know how to sail and I've seen the Himalaya...) but one day I saw the sunrise from a plane when I was flying home from Toronto and it was really a wonderful and touching experience.
Another amazing thing was when I first tried whitewater rafting in Thailand and (thaks to a "nice" French guy) we immediately lost control and I fell into the foaming river, went under the water, hit my side on those big rocks and when finally the staff rescued me I realized that even my contact lenses are in place... And I felt so thankful for my life! Oh yes, after I sat back into the boat and finished the rafting tour. Why not? It was great!! :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

Share my enthusiasm, feelings and thoughts, learn whatever I can.
Teach some basic medicine, facts and interesting things about how we work and why we operate the way we are, physically and mentally. (Did you ever wonder why Viagra is a good stuff...? :-) If you're interested in anything you think I know better, I'd happily teach you. :-)))
