About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Figuring out the next steps in my life and traveling seems to help.

ABOUT ME

Wouldn't you have to ask my best friends... I am a modest person and don't like to speak about myself. But, if I had to stand in for my best friends, I would guess they would say such things: adventurous, independent, tall, red head, smart, compassionate, emotional, sometimes extreme, out going, mature, silly...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am not entirely new to couchsurfing and have used it throughout the years. However, I also find that once you travel a lot, you couchsurf, but without the website/internet. Word of mouth is how I travel! Yet, I am really intrigued by the couchsurfing community and have met many like minded people.
My first couchsurfing experience was in Tanzania and it was extremely positive. I really enjoyed the place and my first host.
When I settle into graduate school in Hawaii, I look forward to hosting people as well.

Interests

Deep conversations. Sports! Really want to get into rock climbing and mountaineering. My internal batteries get charged when I have meaningful conversations with people. I love learning about other people, and this may sound a bit weird, but hearing about their challenges and life's struggles.
Nature. Animals. Trees. Birds.... you name it- anything that mother nature created I love.
A good story or book.
Adventures.
Creativity.
Hiking- I find peace and love in the mountains.
