Right now I have a full time job in an international company.

ABOUT ME

I am compulsively in love with English language and tend to gasp when somebody speaks English to me. I am also a literature and arts lover. I make worst pictures on the Earth, but hope to improve soon. One of my biggest passions is travelling and getting to know other countries and cultures. I have spent almost 5 months in Germany and 6 in the USA as a student. Now I work full-time and continue travelling.

It has been two years now. So far so good!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have only surfed, but in many different countries - the USA, Germany, Estonia, Latvia, Denmark. It has always been a positive experience!

Interests

Literature - I literally devour books. I keep discovering new writers and keep being surprised:)
Photography - I am still a beginner here, but I love making pictures.
Arts - I love visiting museums and art galleries. I have done so in all places I have visited.
Travelling - the best way to meet interesting people!

Music, Movies, and Books

My two favourite writers are: J. L. Borges and Milan Kundera. I like fantasy - admire the classics (Tolkien, Lewis), but still read more and more (Pullman, N. Farmer, N. Gaiman, D. J. NApoli, A. Goodman, Ch. DeLint,...) I like listening to jazz and rock music, but lately music seems to be less important. I have discovered audio books:) I don't have a favourite movie - there are too many of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing thing seen: Mont Blanc; sunrise in the mountains.
Amazing thing done: I have survived two weeks in adverse weather conditions in Fagarasze mountains in Romania. I am still surprised to be alive.

I am enthusiastic about talking about Poland, its rich culture, literature, music, architecture. I am absolutely in love with my country and would like to share my passion with others.
