Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I can't host any "unknown person" as I'm living with my parents... (you know: you will do that when you will have your own house!lol) hope you'll understand!
Instead, I can offer you useful information when you will visit Donostia - San Sebastian and meet you up if possible.
[Someone who hosts me is not a unknown person anymore so...I could host him/her!]
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just had my first CS experience in London (January 2014) and it was cool!!Shared nice moments and had a good time. Waiting to repeat!
Interests
Dance, languages, architecture, hiking, going to the beach, partying, volunteering...
And of course, as a good couchsurfer, I love travelling, knowing new cultures, learning new languages (at least some words lol), sharing stories...
I've read in many profiles that people love's cooking...well, I like it, but I'm not quite good at it so in my defense I should say I know how to do the washing up perfectly.
Music, Movies, and Books
Films: Django Unchained, Desert Flower, Swades.
Books: Guinea Ecuatorial_Fernando Gamboa; Eva Luna_Isabel Allende; Shantaram_Gregory David Roberts;Dispara, yo ya estoy muerto_Julia Navarro.
Music: I'm opened to almost any kind of music! From R&B, pop, reggae, hip-hop, house/electro-house to afrobeats, salsa...show me something new!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I should say that partying with friends always includes "an incredible thing I've seen or done" lol, but well, getting serious...I can remember the beautiful sunsets in Santorini and Mykonos, Stars-full skies in the deserts of India, Morocco and the Altagracia Batey in Dominican Republic, or those virgin paradises in Haiti.
Visiting India: Having a friend there made the trip unforgettable (it made me repeat and go back there the next year lol) as I was able to know many traditions, places and doing lots of friends in a way that I wouldn't have been able to if I would have gone alone. A mystic country where anything could happen.
Volunteering in Haiti: 3 incredible months working in a school, surrounded by very interesting and kind people, among which one of them I think will be the best person I've ever known. Nothing can erase the smiles from haitians faces or take the rhythmn out of their veins, but of course, whithout forgetting their country is the poorest of America. Many contrasts, but a marvellous experience. As they say...bon bagay!
