About Me
After meeting in Miami, Florida my now husband and I decided to move back to the homeland of Bulgaria to start our family life. We have lived in Burgas, Bulgaria for over 7 years now and couldn't be happier about our decision of a slower life, lots of culture, and family close by.
We enjoy traveling, exploring, having fun, making new friends, and basically making the best of life. We have a beautiful 6 year old daughter that absolutely adores animals, loves traveling just as much as we do, and Disney princesses.
My husband works as a sound engineer while I do all sorts of freelance work such as SEO writing, websites, photography, and more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We love to travel, period. I believe the best way to see a city is to meet someone that lives there. Tourist traps are everywhere, but that coffee shop around the corner that has that special vibe is not in the tourist books, only a local can tell you about it. We want to meet new people, share experiences, and perhaps one day if they decide to visit Bulgaria, share our home as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a chameleon when it comes to moves, music, and books. For the most part though, I love the underground. If its popular I can definitely enjoy it, but it wont stir my blood the way something more exotic and unknown to others would. When it comes to music, I can enjoy and appreciate and dance to every type of music as long as the rhythm pulls me in. With books, its just an obsession. I believe that there is a time for every book ever written, you just have to pick it up at the right time in your life for it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have picked up my rather comfortable life in Miami, Florida, left my apartment, job, and friends to follow the man of my dreams to move to Bulgaria. I know many people make major moves, but to me that was probably the most difficult, yet most liberating thing I have ever done.
The most amazing thing though, is bring beautiful Maggie into this world and be her parent, her guide, and see that even though I am not a perfect mom, she is turning out incredible.
Teach, Learn, Share
It feels like I have lived a million lives. I believe that every day gives you an opportunity to learn. I can share knowledge and experiences from Bulgaria, Miami, Twin Falls (Idaho...where I lived for 8 years), and generally life in the US. I love learning about other peoples experiences and understanding how they came to be where they are and doing what they do. There is something to learn from everyone if we would stop to listen.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My spunky personality :-) Of course, a lot more than that. Whether its just me, my husband and I, or the whole family, we are great company and will always find a common topic and interest to discuss.
