Hey everybody,

I am a 25 year old law student and soccer player from Hamburg, Germany. I am an easy going rather extrovert person and enjoy both travelling the world and meeting new people. I grew up in Germany but also lived in the States (Richmond, Virginia) for a year when I was a junior in High School and again for a semester in Law School (University of Colorado, Boulder).

I enjoy spending my free time playing all kinds of sports and reading a lot, especially classical literature as well as political and philosophical works. I am both pretty spontaneous and laid back which seems to also go along with a certain lack of planning sometimes.

Anyways, I am looking forward to having a good time and meeting interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had friends recommend Couchsurfing to me for years now so I figured now would be a good time to try it. I am roadtripping California with my mom and we're looking for a good time, some adventures and fun people!

Also I'd be happy to host some of my hosts in Hamburg one day and show them around!

Movie: The Departed

Music: Very flexible - I'd be inclined to say: the best of everything. Maybe a slight tendency toward electronic music (Falscher Hase, Solumun etc.) and Rap (Eminem, Jay Z, Kanye, Genetikk) but really enjoying some of every genre reaching from Rock (Muse, RHCP, Rolling Stones) to Classical music (Bach, Chopin, Mozart), Jazz, Soul and all the other good stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am not exactly convinced that this goes in the category "amazing" but I'll put it down anyways: Working with juvenile offenders as a coach to help create an academic as well as a career perspective.
