Overview
About Me
In my daily life I'm a software engineer by occupation. I work in the Researh Institute of Aviation Systems. So maths, algorithms and engineering keeps me tightly but... the world is much wider: in general (as my wife thinks) - I'm a cool daddy, I'm always glad if there's an occasion to explore new places and spend more time together with family and meet new people.
Tourism (especially white-water) and travelling once and forever changed my world, made me less conservative, much more tolerant and open-minded.
I like the way foreign languages sound - even if I don't understand a single word. If I'm going to spend my second life - I wish I were a sort of a linguist or so:) Languages and music are somewhat alike but music needs no translation to be understood.
As for music - I ain't a bad sort of a campfire guitar player :)
And at present I'm fascinated by ethno-drums and make my first steps in this way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When travelling it's always better to dilute sightseeing "on your own" meeting with locals. No doubt the place you're in will dramatically become more saturated; I'd even say - as after the rain - the air is moist, thick with scents and sounds. Couchsurfing is a new people and a new world to me.
Interests
I do kayaking, skiing, bicycling. My wife, me and our baby particularly like trekking.
We are of those who prefer active life to just lying on a beach. We choose exotic places in Russia and abroad to visit and to get fun.
