About Me
*Currently traveling with my tiny home bus conversion and looking for a place to park near Riverside, CA.
I love adventures, exploring new places, going on road trips, enjoying the outdoors, photography, concerts and meeting new people. I grew up in the Netherlands and have traveled across a good part of Europe, Canada and the United States.
At age 19, I packed 2 large suitcases and bought a one way plane ticket from Amsterdam to Seattle. I lived in WA for almost 10 years and explored the PNW extensively. For the last three years I have spend my summers in Alaska and travel in the winter.
Life’s short, make the most of every day. Live your life to the fullest. But most importantly, have fun! A day not laughed is a day not lived.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people, making new friends and sharing adventure stories. I believe couchsurfing isn't just about saving money while traveling, it's the people you meet, the connections you make and the local knowledge about an area that makes couch surfing so great.
Since 2016 my home is a (school)bus that I converted myself. So it makes it a little harder to host people, especially since I'm usually not in one location for very long. But I'll try and update my location often so maybe this will still work... It's going to be an experiment... mobile couchsurfing.
So far I have met some really awesome people through couchsurfing. Both as a host and as a surfer. And I hope I'll cross paths with many more.

Music, Movies, and Books
I couldn't imagine living a life without music. I listen to a wide variety of music and go to many concerts. A lot of my favorite bands are indie rock, folk, pop or techno.
I read Wild by Sheryl Strayed not too long ago and now I really want to hike the PCT
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spend almost an entire winter working on converting a school bus to a self sustainable mobile home / RV / Camper. It's all wood inside and looks like a cabin. It is currently my home and I use it to travel across the US and Canada while working as a photographer.
