Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I participated in mountain bike competition on a 90-kilometer track going around the mountain next to Sofia - the capital city of Bulgaria. The terrain was diverse - muddy paths, country roads with rocks and dust and little bit of asphalt roads with an incline demanding the last remaining resource of my lungs. It was hard, exhausting and dangerous, but while I was rushing through the trees in the last kilometers of the competition I had the most amazing experience in my life. I suddenly realized that I was doing what I am supposed to do in a place I am supposed to be and my body got overwhelmed by streams of pure energy. The revelation was so powerful and liberating that I started crying tears of pure and unconditional happiness I could not stop for more than 30 minutes. It was one of those moments I will remember as long as I am alive.
