ABOUT ME

I am Julie. I was born in Lille, northern France almost 30 years ago, lived there till my 18th earth years life, and then the great adventure began!! Started with Europe, picking strawberries and apples, fell in love and realized every day tat I was scared of it and was thinking too much. Travelling was a way to make my life exciting and looking for inner peace. Who Am I?.. Back home between 2001 and 2003, studied Architecture, loved the subject but hated being a student. Found a job at Club Med and worked there for 5 years. Moved a lot, Greece, Egypt, Tunisia, Dominican Republic, many many places in France and French Polynesia. Quit last year and stayed in Pacific, feel home in here. The Ocean is calling me!! Since then, live in Queenstown NZ, not so much for the party but for the healing power of this place. Starting a new life, where ecology and eco-living has got a real space, well-being a constant research, and training in massage therapies and healing arts. I know I will never stop travelling, but don't wish to go on without anybody to share it with. Very romantic indeed, after all I guess I'm still very frenchy!!

PHILOSOPHY

LIFE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and sometimes we need a big kick to remember! But it is so perfect in any ways that the big kick always comes at good time... Magic is all around, inside outside, get a grip and focus on what you want even if it seems impossible! Especially if it seems impossible... That's where the fun begins!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The 1st one : 19 years old, strawberry picker, a danish family welcomed me into their home, as part of the family. I helped them for the renovation of their appartment, they are still in my heart.

Music, spirituality, philosophy, reading in my warm bed with a warm drink and food although I would prefer warm arms only, arts in general, the world of healing well-being and health, rock rock rock I love rock and indie makes me feel alive, flowers, the smells of the forest and the wind blowing through the mountain and lake Wakatipu, driving with loud music, tatoos as what is it where is it and when it was done, arts in general, History, people and places, natural jewels, green, sunrise through my window, oh and strip-cartoons. And... and... and.......................

Whatever good or excellent film, I love films... Music... Any with soul but Rock shakes me the most... Books... What a question!! Roald Dahl is still one of my favourite writer, Kipling, any stories and tales, real based on reality or not, images, strip-cartoons, just books where I learn something in... Any new subject is welcome!!
