About Me

My Couchsurfing account has been inactive for about three years. If you would like to see more recent photos and fin out what I spend my time with, check out my Instagram: @boroewitz

Everything below here might not be true anymore.

I'm studying arts history and philosophy in Berlin.
I'm very interested in foreign culture, in arts, history, culinary specialities of different regions, philosophy; literally everything that forms the culture of a region.
I am a very open person and love to get to know new things I have never done before.
But I also enjoy introducing people into my world, showing them around in Berlin and informing them about all the amazing stories this city has to offer.

On my languages: I do speak German fluently (evidently), a quite good English and a French good enough to deal everyday life and have some discussions. My Spanish is okay for very basic conversations and I just started leaning Turkish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used Couchsurfing for the first time travelling to Denmark and through Germany, because I made the experience that you miss a lot of interesting things and people when only using hostels, hotels and airbnbs when traveling alone. I met great people showing me around in their home towns and other travellers to spend time with.
Having experienced how nice it is to be a surfer, I also want to be a host in my new flat. If you want to stay, please read my profile and write the word "alive" in your request. Copy-paste requests will be declined mostly. Although I know how hard it is sometimes to find a host, I find it very disrespectful to demand a free place to sleep without even taking a few minutes time to read the host's profile.
If you would like to stay as more than one person, please send seperate requests. I would like to know all of my guests. Even if the second person doesn't have a couchsurfing profile, I will ask you to create one, because it's a way to create trust and surfing couches without being a couchsurfer is kind of strange.
If you do not use your real name, your chances to get hosted by me will shrink badly.
I'm very looking forward to meet you!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you my beautiful city and tell you a lot about German and Berlin culture (which sometimes is the exact opposite).

There is only one thing I expect of you: that you let me take a polaroid picture of you for my Couchsurfers' Gallery. Hope you will be another smiling face on my wall! :)
