I'm a pretty friendly and fun guy. I like to think of myself as a freethinker. I'm slow to anger, and I do my best to be polite, unless my attempted wittiness gets in the way. I am not a picky eater; I will try pretty much anything.

I like to travel, but hate the tourist industry, whose purpose is to make money off people wanting to get out and experience something other than their own microcosm. I'm all for people traveling, and if they can get a free friend in a strange place, then here I am.

I am interested in just about everything. I'm sort of a jack of all trades. I can keep a pretty steady conversation going about philosophy, anthropology, biology, math, theatre, music, literature, movies, food, politics, and on and on. I'm also a beer and wine and cheese enthusiast. I play the drums, and I try to write.
