A friendly greeting to all travelers around the globe! I grew up in the very east of Germany. However, for many years I was living and studying in Heidelberg. Luckily, walls have fallen down in the 90s and the beat of a common Europe became palpable. Bringing people together by erasing physical or mental boarders - that has become a central message during my life. And all the people I met and keep meeting through Couchsurfing are contributing to this idea.
