Mister Twain seems like a wise man and not only because of his flawless writing. Life feels like one big adventure, whether we like it or not.

In my early 20s I used to think that everyone should be an active part of this adventure, live in the here and now. There is so much beauty to marvel at, lessons to learn, nature to explore and people to meet out there in the world. I have learned a few life lessons along the way and now in my late 20s my viewpoint hasn't really changed, it has matured.

I came to realize that our daily occupations can slowly turn our life into a boring routine. That's not something that I'm going to embrace. It's true that we may not always feel free spirited and care-free. But take all the negativity and push it away. Everyday can be wonderful if we chose so. Let's value all the amazing moments of our lives; be mindful and treat others the way we expect to be treated ourselves; be open minded and curious towards what we see as different. Let's embrace the universe with all its wisdom and see what it brings us.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE 🏘

So far I've only couchsurfed once. It happened when I spontaneously decided to join my friend Celia on her week-end trip to Lille. It was a very positive experience and one that I'm looking forward to re-live when the opportunity presents itself.

📚 Books. It's a long list, but here are a few highlights that come to mind: "A song of ice and fire", "Lord of the rings", "Sense and sensibility", "The Catcher in the Rye", "Hunger games" trilogy, "The Lincoln lawyer" and pretty much everything by Michael Connelly.

🎵 Music: pop, r&b, hip hop, club. I love remixes, also: Beyoncé, Rihanna, Drake, Calvin Harris, Bastille, Walk the Moon... just check my Spotify.
