ABOUT ME

Tim and I are kind and laid back people. We love kids, the naughty ones especially and love to spend time at home at our computers (which is also our work). We used to be foster parents for many years, so we get on with younger people quite well. There are not many things that stress us these days.

PHILOSOPHY

EVERYTHING is a learning experience and there are NO accidents.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have hosted few people and enjoyed those times immensely. We especially enjoy hosting people from different countries and seeing our town through their eyes. We always learn something new.
We also just started surfing ourselves and love the experience of staying with locals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Till now, we have usually been the hosts rather than hosted and are on a mission to get the dose of our own medicine :-) in the future. We are not that much into hotels, as we are more interested in people rather than shops or sights (although we do like some sightseeing), We are hoping to make some friends all over the world.

Interessi

We are mainly vegans although on occasions we will eat fish, eggs and an occasional ice-cream. I like cooking and am told that I am not bad at it.

We are forever educating ourselves and spend a lot of time doing different courses.

We also help organize courses for youth which is a lot of fun as well as life changing for the participants.

Musica, film e libri

We love documentaries and all kinds of music. When it comes to books, we are both passionate about marketing and tend to read a lot about this subject as well as "how to" books. However, Boshena DID read a whole school library during her schooling days (just over 5000 books including encyclopaedias)just for fun :-)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

If you have ever fostered out of control teenagers, the stuff they can do makes everything else look pale in comparison.
However, we have traveled to different countries and Boshena has lived in Poland (where she is originally from). Tim is an Aussie country boy and is in love with John Deer tractors. He is an ex-policeman with a heart of gold, loves weddings and apart from his internet business is also a DJ. Kids call him a "serial hugger".
Boshena is the disciplinarian in the house in charge of the kitchen, organizing supplies and activities. Together we make a beautiful team :-)

We both come from previous relationships which involved a lot of drama. They drain your energy.
We discovered that having stable, loving, responsible partner in your life frees up your energy to go out, have adventures and take chances.
The most important lesson for us was to learn to communicate well, relax and know that it is often better to be happy than to be right :-)
We can teach you how to prepare a meal in 5 minutes flat from fresh fruit and vegetables which will be great for your body and your soul.
We do marketing online and if you have product you would like to promote, we can give you some tips.
