ABOUT ME

I am an energetic, enthusiatic, somewhat crazy resident of the city of Detroit. I love this place and love to show people around the city. I love it so much that I bought an abandoned house at age 21 and fixed it up and live here now. I have been playing piano since I was 7 years old. I wanted to be a business student but got a scholarship to study the organ. So I took that. Now I am working as a music director at a local church. It's pretty fun. Umm what else. I have one brother who is in the Navy. thats about it

PHILOSOPHY

Love triumphs over all negativity. It is important to reach out to all people, no matter how different your opinions may be. Be genuine and people will be genuine in turn.

I know Detroit very well and would love to show cool couchsurfers around. I host people in my house.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed Germany last summer and hosted people from Europe as well. I love Couchsurfing and love the friendships it has spawned, some of which have become quite strong!

Interests

MUSIC, literature, biking, running, swimming, gardening, fixing things at my house, traveling, meeting people, drinking at jazz clubs, playing music everywhere, cool architecture (especially early 20th century through international style, mid 20th-century stuff), Sega Genesis, horrible movies.

I am a nerdy musician and love pretty much all classical music. I also like listening to jazz and some hip-hop.
