To see visit different intentional communities, friends, and make friends this summer! And to see as many different baseball stadiums as I can while doing it!

ABOUT ME

I am very personable, easy to get along with person who likes living life to the full! I love traveling, new experiences, getting to know new people, enjoy nature and baseball, and also like helping and serving others.

PHILOSOPHY

I want my life to be a blessing to others! I love my job as I get to help those with disabilities, volunteer my time with troubled young adults, and host many events helping to bring people together and connect people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was able to stay with two different people last year (my first year participating in couchsurfing). It was nice to meet people and also have people to hangout with while exploring a city. In the past I've also stayed with friends and at hostels.

Interests

A few of my main interests at the time are traveling, intentional community, Doctor Who, hosting events, and baseball. I love to travel and want to visit different communities this summer. I also host a Doctor Who night every few weeks, host many other events, and am hoping to see many different MLB stadiums this summer!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While in Fairbanks, Alaska I was able to do Age-Dating and Paleomagnetism research. In order to collect our soil samples for the Paleomagnetism portion of the research, we were able to boat up a river for a week and camp on sandbars along the way! Then we had to collect our samples from an outcrop on the river while wearing mosquito protective face masks. We then got to boat back down the river and camp on sandbars which was incredibly fun!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn about different people's experiences and listen to their stories. I imagine sharing stories as well with people I'd stay with. Ideally I'd also like to share a meal together and explore the area together instead of just crashing on someone's couch.
