About Me

ABOUT ME

Quite hard to describe oneself, but I'ld say I'm a very curious person, always willing to discover new people, cultures, langages, places. I'm always keen on going out, going on concerts, exhibitions and so on.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I’ve used Couchsurfing more times than I can count, which has always been a life-fulfilling experience. I’ve met wonderful people who hosted me and made me discover their places. I never had bad encounters and was really well hosted each time. You can find some of my couchsurfing experiences on another profil "Rim, Iris, Mathilde". Thanks to this community I was able to discover Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Romania, Iran, Hungary, Ecuador and Greece in the best of ways, which is through the people living there.
And I hope I can still meet many more people.

Interests

I'm really into literature, as I studied it for a few years but I’m currently studying psychology, which is basically literature topics (people’s lives) but on a more scientific approach. I love to talk about how people view and feel themselves and their environment.
Music is a big hobby, I play the piano and I’m part of an afrobrazilian percussion band (batucada). And I live for cinema and theater.
And of course I love travelling which is no surprise being on couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are so many books, so many movies or so many music I like, it couldn't be summerized on a profil. This is one discussion I'd like to have with the couchsurfers I will meet, so you'll find out eventually.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling I was able to make many beautiful encounters and live crazy adventures that always come back to my mind when I think about the different couches of this community that hosted me. There’s one life moment that I remember with particular joy though, and it’s the day two friends and I randomly ended up participating in a dance contest in honour of the queen of Thailand’s birthday (she wasn’t present though). It was as absurd as beautiful and will always cherish the thought of the women who taught us the moves and dressed us up as if we were part of their team.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking and so far it has always been the best way to get to know my hosts and for them to learn about me. So of course anyone who can make me share their own gastronomic culture, I am willing to learn from them and exchange.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Colombia, Croatia, Côte d'Ivoire, Ecuador, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom, Viet Nam
