ABOUT ME

I followed the usual course of middle class white males. Graduated highschool, went immediately to college, graduated college, fell into a job.

Here I became who I wanted to be. I realized that I had to get more education to continue in my career, which I enjoy. I took a year off and traveled with my brother around Europe and the US. We stayed in hostels and met other travelers. We talked to locals in bars where we could speak the language (a little French and a whole lot of English.) Grand ole time.

I love reading and always felt jealous about the characters in stories. They always meet interesting people and have unique experiences. I realize now it's as easy as opening your eyes and saying "yes."

PHILOSOPHY

I try to maintain a healthy perspective on all of life's ins and outs. This keeps me from getting upset but I also acknowledge that this can lead to a disconnectedness and apathy. I don't want to live a passionless life.

TL;DR I'm still figuring it out... and I'm comfortable with that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to couch surfing. I have friends from all over the country who have been kind enough to let me couch surf from overnight to a couple of weeks. I've met and hung out with their roommates and love the earnestness in which I've been received by everyone.

I'll be moving to Pittsburgh in Aug and hopefully my new roommates will be open to hosting although I don't know if I'll have a lot of time to hang out the way people have made time for me. ONE DAY I SHALL BE ABLE TO PAY IT FORWARD AND I SHALL!!!! cuz it's fun.
