About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Share, learn and discover the more that I can from the World and it inhabitant!
ABOUT ME
So let me introduce myself. Basically I'm a 31 years old guy. 6 years ago, I graduated from an engineer school in the management of environmental risks (sounds complicated, but it's not in reality ;). To sum up, I'm interested in minimizing the impact that we have on our environment to create a sustainable balance.
Currently, I realised that Agroecology was the field I wanted to get involved as it deals with environment issues, people, energy, and food at the same time.
That is the reason why I did an internship about in a biodynamic/organic institute in the USA. After that I also did some wwoofing in France and I worked in an "All organic" Restaurant in Germany.
To say a bit about me, I'm really curious about discovering new lands, new cultures and peoples (That's why I'm now a travel addict). I mean, we have so many things to learn and share from each other!I'm also very simple and amazed by all kind of stuff (specially the beauty of nature and what man can build). I love to cook and eat, that's also one of the reason I wanted to learn how to grow my own food ;).
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy right know is to see all experience as something constructive. I really believe that all events happen in order to teach you something and make you evolved (I'm not saying that it's easy to think this way every day!).So I try to stay optimistic in most situation and see what i can learn from it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've discovered couchsurfing.org thanks to people I met during lifts (I did that a lot and it has also enables me to learn about woofing). And when I saw what was principle of this site, I immediatly approved with this. Then I tested it while I was studying in Canada (a bit like erasmus exchange). We went on a road trip in the North of Quebec during the winter (sounds crazy, and it was =). There, we have been hosted by very gentle people and I really had a good experience!Concerning hosting people, it has always been a bit complicated since I wasn't living by myself (family, friend a bit afraid to host unknown persons...). But I've been the guide of several foreigners when I was in Paris.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
By reading what is just up there you will know about it ;)
Interests
As I said before, I'm really interested in the environmental stuff (renewable energy, management of water, ecosystem or our consumption...).I also like to travel in the middle of landscape, specially hiking in the mountains. In fact, I'm found of sports (swimming, fresbee, soccer, jogging and I've been playing basketball for 13 years) but I was a bit injured during a year...So I decided to learn how to play piano, to sing, to play guitar and a bit harmonica. And an important thing, I really like to cook (it doesn't make me a good cooker) because it is an art that can touch all your senses!

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kind of music (it goes from tchaikovsky to skrillex... imagine the mess!) and it takes a lot of my time to search for new artists.* I like rap/jazz music (Wax tailor, Soulsquare, C2C, Onra, Chinese Man, Gangstarr, Sounproviders...).* I also listen to Dub and Dubstep (Hightone, Panda Dub, Kanka, Le peuple de l'herbe, Skrillex, Pendulum, Steve Aoki...).* Music i can dance on, from electro (Avicii, Moulinex, Fabian, Madeon, Daft Punk, Digitalism, Jamiroquai...) to old disco/funk.* To finish, I like old music, specially jazz/soul, rap and reggae (Duke Ellington, Amstrong, Maceo Parker, Al Green, Tupac, Jay Dilla, Gregory Isaacs, Barington Levy, Bob Marley, the Skatalites...!).To conclude let's say that I'm open minded and I love music ;)
