About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life's a garden; dig it!

ABOUT ME

I am a university student who likes to take big risks that don't always work out.

PHILOSOPHY

People, more than anything else, is what makes life worth living.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have only participated in the CS experience by staying at others' houses. It has helped me to travel the world and make friends along the way. One of these days I will repay the favor.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed for around one week in Gisbourne, New Zealand. My host, Gillie, took in both me and my friend and gave us each a separate bed. During the week she gave us tours of the city, fed us everyday, drove us to the beach and even let us borrow her surfboards! It was an amazing experience and I made a good friend in her. I'd say that no other couchsurfing experience will equal my first, but I'd like to be proven wrong :) That being said, I am very laidback and have no expectations when I couchsurf other than to have a good time.

Interests

I enjoy learning new languages, making music (I play ukulele, piano and guitar in that order), reading, playing sports (baseball, volleyball, futbol, swimming and working out), dancing, discovering culture, eating and swimming.

Music, Movies, and Books

I appreciate all classic literature (I am an English literature student) and the occasional Dr. Seuss.

I recently took two courses on Film Noir and Horror movies. I enjoy movies that can be analyzed and studied, but no-brainers are good every now and then. And cartoons.

I have a wide and varied taste in music. Lately I have been listening to the Gorillaz. I also love good music to dance to (ie. make choreography).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Highlights so far:
1.Skydiving above Lake Taupo
2.Beating a Tongan team in a volleyball game (they were huge!)
3.Driving across the northern US states from east to West
4.Living with the people of Argentina for two years
