Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After many years of absence, I am back on the couchsurfing site with my wife Olga.
We are a Parisian couple with a passion for travel and international meetings.
We open a youtube channel to film our exchanges
We would be happy to host and share moments of conviviality on the theme "how do we live in Paris".
Smile because you will be filmed and of course any image broadcasted will not be done without your agreement.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A few years ago, i Had experience of couchsurfing with hospitality club.
I often read on the profiles of couchsurfers that they are looking for authenticity with the locals. In my opinion, if you really want to exchange with Parisians and what is cultural in Paris, you have to prepare this several weeks in advance. There are cultural events every week, both free and paid, and you can of course see shows outside the traditional Moulin Rouge.
In short, if you use this site for a real travel and cultural exchange experience, I will be delighted to welcome you, to advise you and to share typical moments of my country with you. I am also curious to know your impressions of Paris and even to try to see Paris differently through your eyes

Music, Movies, and Books

I have an eclectic taste in the arts. However, I don't really like it when artists turn into billboards.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I married my current wife whom I met through a couchsurfing site

What I Can Share with Hosts

I started couchsurfing when I was in my thirties. At the time, exchanges were spontaneous, perhaps sometimes too much so. Today, I realise that I have aged in the eyes of young people. At least I feel young, but my greying hair says the opposite. In fact, I invite couchsurfers of all ages to consider me as a young person, still ambitious and full of vitality, but with a little more experience.
In particular, I know Paris quite well as I have lived there since I was a child and I am passionate about its cultural life.
