ABOUT ME

I'm a 25 year old guy living in Utrecht. I'm a student on the Utrecht University since 2005 and know I'm back in my homtown to earn my MSc degree. I'm the oldest brother of 4, but they still live at my parent's place. I'm on a rowing club in Utrecht called Orca and my favorite pass time is skiing. Kinda difficult in a country without mountains but i get by on a plastic slope for exercise. I like to go out with my friends and me and my brother have a 1975 Saab 96. It's a great car but we have no idea how to do large maintenance. I like to hang out with people and just talk about all kinds of different things. Have fun, make jokes and act like a fool now and then.

you shouldn't think about reasons why you shouldn't do something. you should think why you SHOULD do something. way more fun!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

all the times so far when I was in the States or in Canada, I noticed that there are way more friendly people over here then back in Europe. I would love it if the same enthousiasm and openness to strangers would also be seen in the Netherlands. a good start is starting with yourself. that's why I would like to show people around in Utrecht to. I have great couchsurfing experiences, I'd like to do the same to people visiting Utrecht.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a couple couches in the States and Canada. I've been in a trailer with a surfdude, in Calgary with the coolest host ever, Salt Lake City with relatives, Los Angeles, San Francisco with a great local and a few more places.
I've had travellers over at my place before, but only one official CS-person so far. I hope it'll be more!

兴趣

I'm an active person, I like to sport and go out. I also like to write and I'm always very curious about how things work on different places. my favorite sport is skiing.

music: all different styles: it all depends on the situation. I don't like VERY loud music like techno, but I do like rock.
my favorite movies: Forest Gump, the shawshank redemption. anything word a laugh or with a good story.
