Welcome to our profile ! We are a 23 and 26 year-old couple from the South Coast of England currently travelling the world! We both had full-time jobs in Hospitality, but found that we were working constantly and not enjoying our day-to-day lives.. we saved as much money as we could and now here we are, travelling the world for 3 months!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to explore the world, and not just all the places you "should" go to, but actually living like a local! So far we've found that we stay in a lot of hotels and Airbnb’s where we don’t get to meet new people or fully experience the cultures we visit. In Sapa, Vietnam we stayed with a Mongolian tribe for 2 days and we thoroughly enjoyed every second - we were fortunate enough to experience their way of life, learn about a new culture and get involved with day to day activities. We loved the experience, and Couchsurfing seems like the best place to enable more of that to happen!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach and Share:

We would love to share with our hosts what we have experienced on our trip around the world so far; this has been a totally new venture for the both of us so we can teach you of all the highs and lows we have had along the way.

With a Psychology degree and secretly being a bit of a nerd at heart, Olivia would happily teach what she has learnt throughout University as well as any academical tutoring for younger family members if they wished.

With Zak being a chef he would happily cook and teach some of his speciality dishes to anyone would love to learn some additional cheffing skills ! We are also fluent in English so those who would like to practice or learn some English - we would happily help !

Learn:

We would love to learn about your culture, how your day to day life operates and what you have experienced yourselves throughout your life so far. We would love to try the local dishes you cook and hopefully some of your language too (we'll do our best, we promise, but you might have to be patient!!)

What I Can Share with Hosts

We would love that when we are back home from travelling and have our own places, that those who have hosted us can come to England and stay with us in return ! That way we can share our lives just as they have shared theirs with us.
