ABOUT ME

I quit my job as a secretary after 17 years in one company. Then I did "work and travel" in Canada. It was my last chance for doing that at this time, because the maximum age for getting a WH-Visa in Canada is 35. And at this time I was 35.

The year in Canada was fantastic, so I decided doing that again. So I travelled for a half year to New Zealand, Australia and Fiji.

I am an openminded person who loves contact with interesting people. I love socializing, cooking together, ballroom dancing (boogie woogie), i love sports, going to the fitness studio, inliners, ice hockey (I used to be an ice hockey player myself in a fun ladies team), swimming. My hobbies are waitressing, going out, seeing concerts, motorbikes (especially Harley Davidson)... i am keen to learn about new things in live that can further my knowledge and outlook on life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed a couch once in Calgary while Calgary Stampede and Calgary Folk Music Festival in July 2012 which was fantastic. At the Stampede I got a job in a German Sausage House :-))

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw how little the world is and how big we think we are - from the open doors of the plane i was about to jump from in Namibia. This trip has taught and shown me more than i would have hoped for - It was an AMAZING 3 weeks trip through Namibia, Botswana... !
