Overview
About Me
I am a graduate Student at Cornell University. Before that I was running a farm and a non-profit in Miami where children from all over the city could harvest and cook their own meals.
I almost always travel with my wonderful partner, Lea, who is teaching at Cornell. We are usually out and about, trying our best to keep in the open air. If we can't be outside, we'll do our best to be near some delicious food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am new to couchsurfing and will do my best to keep up with the etiquette demanded by the platform/community. I am, in principal, very excited by the concept of space-sharing.
Interests
Lately, my passion lies in the kitchen. I enjoy baking, frying and anything that results in food. However, I also relish physical activity whether it be jogging, rock-climbing or (poorly-played) fútbol. Lea and I are also known to be kayaking, dancing and cooking collaboratively for a large group of friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I loved Virginia Woolf, but am trying to catch up on non-anglo authors.
I love all music that is genuine and doesn't smell of contrived, industry-fabricated stinkiness.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am doing research on Fertilizers in Ethiopia for my graduate degree and I am learning the language quite fast.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A wealth of cooking knowledge, gardening/farming tips and a bit of music.
