Hola ! Elijo para descubrir el Ecuador (y los Andes), y tal vez vivir allí por un momento si encuentro un trabajo ! Hablo un poco español, pero necesito de mejorar mi idioma... It's easier for me to speak in english for the moment but I hope to progress a lot with my spanish this summer !

Toujours en vadrouille à la poursuite de mes rêves, je reviens d'Irlande pour passer du temps dans le sud de la France, voir des amis et la famille. Je compte participer à des formations et me consacrer à la méditation, découvrir des formes de spiritualité que j'ai jusque là ignoré..

I'm currently doing an internship in a Kuala Lumpur university. I'm doing socio-anthropological research on Malaysian food and eating habits. I'm here since May until August to enjoy South-East Asian travels' on my free time!

Hum it's not really easy to talk about myself... I try to give you informations about me in the following description.
I just continue my studies at the University of Toulouse, in sociology applied to the food habits. Before I crossed Canada by hitch-hicking for 1 year and a half, from Cape Spear to Inuvik.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in the CS project by providing a couch. Travellers can have an acess to a bed, shower, laundry, meal, friendship... Don't forget to check the "Couch Information" on the right.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started using CS in Canada by crashing couches. I did CouchSurfing for the first time in Québec at Francois's home. CS enabled me to meet great people and to visit Québec City. My second eCSperience was in Dawson City ; I met Marie-Eve in town and since we became friends. I do it again for a week in Brooklyn with Leif and it was a amazing. Nick hosted me twice when I was in Cape Breton to took a boat and I also met tons of people using CS during their travels.

J'ai utilisé le CS pour la première fois au Canada. Je venais d'arriver à Montréal et je partais sur Québec pour le carnaval. J'ai rencontré François de cette manière, j'en ai gardé un bon souvenir et des amis. J'ai rencontré Marie-Eve à Dawson City quand j'y suis arrivé en hiver, j'ai eu l'occasion de la revoir l'été suivant. Entre temps je m'étais rendu à Terre-Neuve, North Sidney, New-York où j'ai eu l'occasion de faire encore de belles rencontres et de beaux voyages grâce à Leif et Nick notamment.

Interests

I love music, reading, travelling, cooking... I did a radio host and a fanzine in France about hardcore punk music. I'm curious and I like learn about arts, history, nature, sciences, etc.

J'aime tout particulièrement la musique, la lecture, les voyages (quand j'ai le cash et le temps...), cuisiner, le sport (le vrai, pas la télé), ciné, séries, etc...

Music, Movies, and Books

I love geek stuff, my french classic movies are La classe américaine, Bernie, Un singe en hiver. I like zombies movies, those on from Albert Dupontel, Michel Audiard, Gaspard Noé, movies from the Troma, Peter Jackson, Kevin Smith, Stanley Kubrick, etc. I also watched some TV show (Futurama, Dexter, Oz, My name is Earl...) and find the time to sleep sometimes.

I listen to many rock bands, punk rock, garage and hardcore bands (there would be too much to say...), surf music, post-rock, blues/country/jazz, Brassens, Gainsbourg, the Who, CCR, the Clash, Radio Birdman, the Saints, Caméra Silens, LSD, Leatherface, The Ruts, Dag Nasty, Down To Nothing, Fugazi, Moss Icon...

My favorites authors are Camus, Céline, Saint-Exupéry, John Fante, Jack London, Bukowski, Kundera, Steinbeck, Poe for books and I like comics from Garth Ennis, Alan Moore, Warren Ellis, Powell, Mignola...

Drink some whisky in Dawson City with a true human toe in my glass, then go down the river on my raft

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some cooking or origami paper folding, DIY tips to built a raft or snow-shoes, share some advices about travelling who can be applied to a zombies apocalypse (we never know...)
