Über mich
Hello I live in Queens, NYC and do a variety of fun things here and nearby. I play the violin and I work on old timberframe barns restoring them so they last another 2-300 years! I love to cook, ride my bike, hang out with my friendlies, go out see music movies art dancing swimming sights nature boats bridges grocery stores cemeteries parks these are all basic human things I love them. I love garbage too and animals and jokes and silence too. Books during silence.
(This is leftover from ancient CS profile PHILOSOPHY section, but I do not read much philosophy and I would maybe add more about dreams and hunger but not right now)
"Listen to the things your mind and body have to say. Push towards discomfort, where risks are inevitable as opposed to bartered through a painstaking mental calculus that will result less in chance. Spend time alone; be around people you love. Eat healthy and be active. Develop routine; embrace spontaneity. Save money; spend it frivolously. Travel go places yes. Build a community."
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I always champion couchsurfing as a way to travel. I also host in NYC when my couch isn't already occupied by real life friends. I have many visitors coming through this fair city.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed in NYC, Tennessee, Guatemala
Hosted in Montreal, NYC
Positive enriching experiences on both ends!
Interessen
I'm open to it.
I love going to the beach; it's better if I bike there. Getting inundated by stimulii, whether it's neighborhood industrial wrecking ball shrill or a hot bowl of noodles.

Musik, Filme und Bücher
Everything! Except Jazz maybe? Not much of a jazz guy unless it veers towards a freeform nothingness like a kerfuffle of lettuce hello
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
ever stand three feet from a barrelling passenger train? on the tightrope sidewalk planking on the edge of a bridge on a midsummer chinese night as thick as sauna breath? to watch the flicker flash 1920s cinema of the passing passengers on the train cajoling and card playing? to feel the silence of the vanished train like a reverse explosion? to turn around and kick a pebble into the dark splash? to see the round light switch green and see the cat's eye headlights creep around the distant corner? there's another train coming.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I can teach you how to play the violin.
I would like to learn some traditional folk songs from a tradition that is not my own.
I would share fresh baked bread with you, too.
Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann
I have two extra bicycles that would make exploring much more fun and easy.
