About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To discover the world and learn about different people and world views

ABOUT ME

I started a PhD at the University of Kent in Canterbury in September.
I'm friendly and positive. Always try to enjoy whatever I'm doing and make the best of the situation. I Look forward to meeting many different people.

PHILOSOPHY

Learning about a place from an insider's view adds so much more to a travel experience, and I think it's the best way to travel. If everyone would travel this way and learn about each other's country / culture / way of life etc. there would thoughts later)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I have the space I would love to offer a place to sleep, so that people can go out and see that little part of the world that I live in. Learning about a place from an insider's view adds so much more to a travel experience, and I think it's the best way to travel. If everyone would travel this way and learn about each other's country / culture / way of life etc. there would be so much more understanding and collaboration.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I always prefer to stay with local people, or at least people that live locally. That way I get a better view of the actual situation in the country / city / place, and get to see places I otherwise wouldn't have. Mostly this has been with friends, but I would also like to visit places in which I do not have friends yet.
