ABOUT ME

As a 23, verging on 24 year-old, I love meeting people, socializing, and exploring new places. After attending Carleton College as a Chemistry major, I've been doing some rather hectic microbiology research, but am definitely looking to change my world a bit and explore somewhere new.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After traveling to Spain in the summer 2011, my girlfriend and I stayed with a couple (Ivan and Marta) in their beautiful apartment in Sitges. They took us on awesome hikes into the surrounding wilderness, we got to meet their really fun friends, and even showed us their favorite restaurants in the area. Definitely cemented my appreciation and love for the benefits of couchsurfing.

Interesses

With New Zealand being my current destination, I'm sure it's rather expected that I'm a big fan of the outdoors. With that in mind I'm really active with whatever type of sport I can get involved in. Playing guitar and writing music are always a big part of my life as well. Otherwise, just getting to know the people and places around me is enough.
