Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf and meet travellers from all over the world to get a deeper understanding of each other's culture and explore places that only the locals will know.

I hope to be able to host soon to return all the hospitalities that I have received from all my CS friends from around the world

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in Tokyo with Subin & Takako, London with Anna & her family, Cambridge with Valerie & Tom , Dublin with Jamma & her bf, Paris with Aude & her bf, Beijing with Quanquan & her roommates on a separate occasion, Bangalore with Ronita and Vijay's family, Dhaka with Lamya's family

Hung out with Quanquan in Beijing.

Interests

Traveling - to see different parts of the world, trying out authentic local food (most important!), immersing in the culture & learning about the different languages.

Good Coffee - I like to explore cafes, particularly for latte/flat white & good latte art!

Good Beer - I don't and I can't drink a lot, but I like to try good beer from all over the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a hot air balloon in Mexico in 2012
Skydived in USA from 18,000 ft in 2012
Spent more than a month backpacking from Hong Kong to Singapore through China, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Malaysia overland in 2012
Backpacked for 4 months in Europe during my student exchange in Poland, 2013
Paragliding, bungee and canyon swing in Nepal in 2015

I hope to learn new languages, and I can teach you English/Mandarin in return.

I love to cook and eat (A LOT), and I can cook some Singaporean food for you to try :)
