Overview
About Me
Hello, my name is Boyoung Kim (some of my friends call me Bonnie so choose the easier one!!) I am a student from South Korea.
I am very energetic and advanturous but at the same time, I have a cultural background that can respect boundaries and other cultures. I love talking, spending time with friends and traveling. I can be lazy sometimes(like laying in bed for hours) but responsible for what I have to do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to experience what local people do. I can go to some tourist spots by searching on the Internet. But living with the local can give me better memoreis and experiences!! I want to meet people who live there and listen to what they say about their hometowns.
Also I would like to help other people who choose to come to Korea since I got help from others. I cannot let you stay at my house but I can help you with some information or shortly meet you!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like various types of music (from Classic to EDM) but not a fan of hip-hop :P
My favorite movie is 'Inception'. I watched it more than five times and still feel impressed whenever I watch it. I also love 'Her' and 'The Grand Budapest Hotel'. Any movie with great mise-en-scéne !
Also I'm a huge Harry Porter nerd and I would like to call myself as a tolkienist(although my knowledge about Silmarillion is not that deep)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two life changing experience so far.
1) Volunteer trip to Nepal
: I like to recommend people to go for a volunteer trip to the place that has a totally different environment. Because, it not only shows you how blessed you are but also tells you what to do for the world. This was a trip that changed my egoistic charater.
2) Exchange year in USA
: Living in different country without your family and friends gives you independent character. And if the country has a different cultural background, it can make your perspective wider. Plus, you will have friends from all over the world!!
