ABOUT ME

Hello Fellow International Travellers! Our names are Daniel and Vicki. We are very sociable and friendly people, who wish to welcome international visitors to Brisbane.

We can only host people on the weekends, as we have other commitments and work during the week - Sorry.

If you have nowhere to stay, lonely whilst backpacking, need some good company, lost in our City, or want to be shown around Brisbane, We can help! We have our own 3 bedroom house in the North of Brisbane, 10 mins drive from the airport and 12km out of the Brisbane CBD.

We are both enthusiastic in what ever we do. We are both energetic, open minded and love meeting new people, having new experiences - whatever they are!! and visiting new places.

We enjoy open minded people, who want to get the most out of life and try new things (people like us) People who enjoy the company of others and know how to have good time, even if there might not be much to do.

We would love to meet new people from different countries and make their stay a memorable one!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Need a place to crash? Ok! Come on over!

Please take note of the preferred notification days required (14 days).

We can only host people on the weekends, as we have other commitments and work during the week - Sorry.

I work in the city, so I can meet anyone in town after work for a beer on Wednesday or Thursday.

I can have a few more drinks on Friday and Saturday and I can bring my friends along.

Weekends are the only time for any day trips that you might want to do. Just Ask...

Our House is in close proximity to the Airport, if you require an airport pickup.

The local buses can whisk you into and out of Brisbane city, for a cheap fare. The Brisbane Train line is 10min walk from our house and will swiftly transport you into and out of Brisbane city, (it’s how I get to work).

We are happy to drive into the city, catch the train or bus into the city.

We are very inviting people and trust that people will be courteous upon any visit. However, We will not hesitate in contacting the local authorities if that trust is broken. It’s all about trusting people! (Both ways).

A Workmate from Germany, that was doing an internship at the company I work for, explained the idea and showed me the website.

We both enjoy nights out in town with mates, be it sipping cocktails in a lounge bar, boozing in a pub watching sport or dancing in any of Brisbane's nightclubs.
We enjoy quiet nights in with friends around a fire, having friends over for a barbie and just nights in playing board games. We both love going camping and getting out seeing Australia and the World.
