I'm doing a master's in Environment Policy at Oxford and hiking through England as much as I can.

PHILOSOPHY

Pluralism: differences are good, everyone has a point but we also each have our own blind spots. All the more reason to get together and look at the world from someone else's perspective.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A vacation isn't worth it if you don't meet people at the destination, and I've been lucky enough to build friendships around Sweden, Denmark, and Germany.

Interests

Watching the sun play off the ocean calms me down, and learning something new and interesting fires me up. Over the past few years, I've been doing my best to understand how the world works so that I make it a little better, or at least more interesting.

I'll just have to go with one favorite from each: Movies, Dead Poets Society; Music, Couer de Pirate and Deep Dark Woods; Books, non-fiction is probably A Geography of Time, fiction, maybe Syrup by Max Barry. I don't read enough fiction, to be honest.
