Présentation
À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
Catch tons of fish, Ski massive peaks, attend burning man HELLA, travel, camp, and generally maintain a perceptive state and positive attitude
ABOUT ME
This shit is difficult for me to fill out. Among other things, I am a musician (I play the piano/keyboard), an artist (drawing mostly these days) an avid skier, skateboarder, commercial fisherman, poker player, cook (chef?), adventurer, and friend-maker. Those are the things that I DO. For the sticker stuff like how I AM, well, that's a little harder to explain. I suppose I'm a bit shy at times but generally an outgoing, funny, adventurous human.
PHILOSOPHY
I strive to be perceptive. Perceptive of my needs and motives, and the needs and motives of others. Perceptive of birds passing by. Perceptive of where the fuck I left my keys. I'm not always good at it.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As of yet, I haven't. I've been roadtripping a lot around the US and Mexico in the last year, and I'd like to be able to use couchsurfing as a resource to meet people that can host me when travelling and introduce me to places with which I'm unfamiliar. I also settle down for about half the year in winter months to make the daily ski-shred, so I'll either be in Salt Lake City of Jacksn hole this winter. I intend to keep a space in my home for guests and I'd love to welcome some surfers to my house. We can ski together, or just hang out.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As a member of the "Treebangers" in Bellingham, we've hosted some surfers. Other than that, I've just run into so many people that rave about CS as an amazing friend/travel resource that it could no longer be ignored.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
BOOKS: Desert Solitaire, Dune, anything by Cormac McCarthy (especially All the Pretty Horses and Blood Meridian), The Painted Bird.
MOVIES: No Country for Old Men and the Princess Bride are probably my two favorite movies.
MUSIC: It's impossible to think of it all. I've been listening to Washed Out, Memory Tapes, Destroyer, The Radio Dept., and the Weeknd recently. I have a firm foundation in classic rock, jazz, blues, R&B, Rap and electronica. I listen to a lot of music and I spend a lot of time finding music that I like.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I went to New Orleans a few weeks ago for the first time and the Live music there was incredible. In the French Quarter, it was difficult to find a bar WITHOUT live music (Burboun street is an exception). The level of talent there was simultaneously intimidating and inspiring to me.
Burning Man is the most incredible social event that I've attended.
Southern Utah is the most mind-bogglingly beautiful place that I've ever spent a significant amount of time in.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I love to share music with people. I'm good at that. I can show you how to make some mega delicious fish tacos from scratch (except for the tortillas). There's some other stuff but I'm tired of typing.
