About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Staving off the deep desire to force feed all of my friends the experimental cooking recipes I concoct at night in my head.
ABOUT ME
A small-town boy with big-city dreams, big plans, and an even bigger appetite for adventure and travel. I'm pretty outgoing, love meeting people, and what most would describe as "crazy". Currently, I'm studying at Saint Louis University in Madrid. Anyone who can make me laugh is instantly a friend!
PHILOSOPHY
This would be a great thing to discuss when we meet! :D But, I'm an open-minded Christian. I'm also a hopeless romantic.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Host for surfers, great tour guide of Madrid, & looking to meet people from around the world! You're sure to get a great meal if you stay with me (I don't mean to boast, but not a few have complimented me on my cooking skills).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've hosted a couple of guys from Lebanon, Germany, Scandinavia.... They were definitely some of the best weekends I've had so far here in Madrid. Definitely made friends for life, and I think he had an awesome time too! I've had the opportunity to stay with hosts in other cities, as well, and, boy, were they some adventures!
Interests
Traveling! (Duh). Exploring abandoned places, photography, learning languages, cooking, playing piano, singing, reading, making new friends, doing out-of-the-box adventures, riding my bike, etc. I'm down for anything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. At 3 AM in Bethlehem, we were touring the city with the son of a Palestinian friend we had made in one of the shops, and he was showing us around the real city. Not a single tourist, but just a city full of sights, smells, and sounds. We made a multitude of friends that night, and I realized the brotherhood that is humanity.
2. Discovering a 2,500 year-old Phoenician coin in an archaeological excavation near Haifa, Israel. Needless to say, I was dumbstruck. It had Egyptian hieroglyphics on one side and small sea life icons on the other. It felt amazing just hold that much history in my hands and feel the connection to the past, which isn't as far away as we think.
