About Me
Hello! My name is Brach (pronounced Brock) and I have been traveling consistently for over a year now, living out of a backpack.
So far it has been quite an interesting tale. After working a cubicle desk job for 6 months in my hometown I quit my job and spontaneously joined my cousin at Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium. This was my first trip to Europe and all I knew was that I wanted to explore and learn of the world. 2 months later I met the CEO of Hostel Hop and he hired me to create a network for the company in Latin America. I worked and traveled like crazy for this company the whole year, and now I am traveling more on my own terms while continuing to build the company when I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I prefer to travel as cheap as possible so I can travel for as long as possible. Comfort is not one of my priorities, and I really love to meet and connect with new people that know of the world.
I am mainly trying to travel via work exchange programs such that I can experience some sense of community as I go on this crazy adventure through life. So, it is likely that I will ask you for a brief stay to aid me in my travels as I will turn to this platform for any "in between" situations I find myself in.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book is Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts
My favorite band is Tame Impala, they’re my comfort
My favorite movie is Lion King, mainly because the scene with Pumba eating the insects. They look so delicious for some reason!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Set out to change my life, and actually did it! To look back and see how far I have come is to squint into the far distance and barely be able to see where I began. But that’s alright, I’d rather look forward instead ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English, Spanish, boxing, some yoga, and random life stuff I guess.
I would like to learn about where you came from and where you want to go, and how these things are related.
I can share some stories from my journeys in Latin America and Europe, I can also talk to you about life philosophies and how they vary across the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my adventures, my knowledge, and if we get along I will probably invite you along with me to explore and enjoy whatever city we are in!
I can also share dog videos I have from my 3 years working in doggie daycares.
