Hello, my name is Brad. My girlfriend, Tara, and I are traveling for a few months. We are interested in meeting new people and having a good time.

Although we are currently backpacking around, we aren't your typical backpackers. We are both in our late twenties and worked very hard to save up to make this trip happen. We enjoy having a good time but we aren't huge partiers.

Before we quit our jobs to travel I was an engineer and Tara was in business operations. We both worked for the same aerospace company.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on couchsurfing to meet locals, make new friends, and to try and save money while traveling and hopefully be able to return the favor when we get back to the States.

I know we are new to CS so we don't have any feedback yet but we can tell you that we are responsible, kind, and happy people.

Interests

Travel, meeting new people, playing football (soccer), frisbee, tennis, and volleyball. We enjoy hanging out with our family and friends. We recently got PADI certified and have enjoyed the diving we have done.

As an engineer and with a construction background I enjoy building and repairing things.

My girlfriend loves to cook and enjoys wine. We have a dog back home that my girlfriend recued five years ago. Sometimes I think she likes the dog more than me.

We both enjoy many different types of cuisine.

Back home in our free time we try to do volunteer work to help out those who could benefit from it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My girlfriend and I have been traveling for several months now. We saved up for a few years to be able to take time off of work to see the world.

One of the best experiences we have had on this trip was volunteering at a school in Cambodia.
