About Me
Hi couch surfing community!
I work 6 months out of the year fighting forest fires as a forest service employee. Since I don't work between October and May I love to travel! I love making new friends, going to concerts, rock climbing, camping, swimming, cooking, wine and dancing. I would not consider my Spanish completely fluent but I can understand and say a lot. I am hoping to learn Italian.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Theres nothing like meeting locals when you travel. You will be guaranteed a far more authentic experience of a place which is important to me. In my travels I've always felt that my greatest memories were made with friends who i met along the way. For this reason I am hoping to find that through the couch surfing community. I look forward to the day when I will have a home to open back up to that same community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in Bolivia, I climbed a 6000 meter mountain near La Paz called Huayna Potosi. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done. We left high camp at midnight and began hiking up a glacier to the peak in the middle of a dark blizzard. I got really bad elevation sickness very close to the top, but I made it. Getting off that mountain was fucking amazing. I coughed for weeks and laid in a hostel bed in La Paz stuffing my face with chicken empanadas.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am hoping to get better with my Spanish speaking and to speak some basic Italian. I love learning languages.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook! If you have me over to crash on your couch I would be happy to go get some groceries and wine and cook a meal for you! I can roll really good joints ;). If you are looking for a belay partner, I have a bunch of rock climbing gear and love to go send it.
